Hepatitis A outbreak in Gaza: Nearly 40,000 infected recorded

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) says its health centers and shelters in the enclave have already recorded nearly 40,000 hepatitis cases since Israel’s war on Gaza started, Report informs via Al Jazeera.
“800 to 1,000 new hepatitis cases are reported weekly from UNRWA health centres and shelters across Gaza - a total of nearly 40,000 since the war began Desperate sanitary conditions facilitate the spread of diseases including Hepatitis A,” the UNRWA said on X.
