Gunmen in Nigeria kill 2 people, take 14 workers hostage

Gunmen have attacked the town of Tsafe, located in the Nigerian state of Zamfara, killing one of the commanders of the regional security service, as well as a local government official, Report informs referring to TASS citing the state Governor Dauda Lawal.
“Along with the double murder, the terrorists took hostage 14 workers who were building a highway,” the Nigerian newspaper Premium Times quoted him as saying.
The attack on Tsafe came less than 24 hours after another attack in Zamfara state, in which gunmen killed 11 people and took 20 more hostage in the village of Gidan Zuma.
