Guatemala welcomes peace declaration between Baku, Yerevan

The Government of Guatemala welcomes the joint declaration signed by Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington with the mediation of the US, reads a statement of the Foreign Ministry of the Central American country, Report informs.
It is noted that Guatemala views this important step as a key milestone in efforts to achieve peace and security in the South Caucasus region.
"We express our sincere wishes that this process will lead to a final peace agreement that will contribute to the full normalization of relations between the two countries," reads the statement.
