Germany provides Ukraine with new military aid package

Germany announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.
The new military aid package includes a variety of weapons and equipment, according to the German government.
This time, the list of supplies includes:
- 22 LEOPARD 1 A5 main battle tanks with spare parts (a joint project with Denmark);
- 22 mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAPs)
- 5 Bandvagn 206 all-terrain vehicles (BV206) and a Warthog commando vehicle;
- 3 GEPARD self-propelled anti-aircraft guns with spare parts;
- 2 TRML-4D air surveillance radars;
- 61 thousand 155 mm artillery shells.
Germany also provided reconnaissance drones as part of the new military assistance package: 30 VECTOR, 20 RQ-35 HEIDRUN, 12 SONGBIRD, 6 Hornet XR, and 20 unmanned surface ships.
In addition, the new assistance package includes:
- engineering and mine countermeasures vehicles, including six WISENT 1 mine countermeasures tanks and a DACHS armored vehicle;
- 16 ground surveillance radars and two AMPS self-defense systems for helicopters;
- transportation and logistics vehicles, including 112 vehicles and eight Zetros tankers.
Germany also provided Ukraine with weapons. In particular, ten MG3 machine guns with 500 spare barrels, 12 Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers, and 100,000 rounds of ammunition for firearms.
