French politician: Macron preparing coup

French President Emmanuel Macron is preparing a coup d'état in the country, according to the leader of the French Patriots Party, Florian Philippot, Report informs.

In his opinion, the appointment of Richard Ferrand as head of the Constitutional Council is not a coincidence. Through him, Macron can achieve the removal of the legislative ban in order to get an opportunity to run for a third presidential term.

"Yes, Ferrand wants to remove the ban on a third term, he has already said so! He talks about it very often. His appointment is not a coincidence at all! Macron is preparing his coup d'état," Philippot wrote on social media.
