France launches investigation into algorithm manipulation on X

French authorities have launched an investigation into the social media platform X over alleged algorithm manipulation and fraudulent data extraction, Report informs via foreign media.

"X categorically denies these allegations," the platform stated.

The investigation was initiated by French politician Éric Bothorel. According to company representatives, such actions pose a threat to users’ rights to privacy and freedom of expression.
