Former Turkish foreign minister becomes new OSCE secretary general

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has announced the appointment of former Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu as its new Secretary General.

According to Report, the announcement was made by the current OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ján Borg, who also serves as the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Malta.
