At the headquarters of the United Nations (UN) in New York, the flags were lowered to half-mast, Report's US bureau informs.
The decision was made as a sign of respect to the memory of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and their delegation who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
As reported, on May 19, Ebrahim Raisi's helicopter crashed near the city of Varzaqan, Iran. As a result of the incident, all passengers and crew members of the helicopter died.
