Finnish MP commits suicide in parliament building

A member of Finland’s parliament committed suicide on Tuesday in the parliament building.
According to Report, citing the Yle news portal and a source in the Helsinki Police Department, the identity of the deceased MP is known, but the name will only be disclosed once contact has been made with relatives.
“On Tuesday, a person died in the parliament building. The call to the police came through the Emergency Response Center at 11:06,” the source said.
Police are investigating the death. Law enforcement officials note that no signs of violent death were found.
Several police patrols and medical teams are working at the scene.
