Explosion rocks cargo ship in Red Sea near Yemen

An explosion occurred on a Hong Kong-flagged container ship in the Red Sea, Report informs via AP.
The incident occurred 225 km from the port of Hodeidah in Yemen. It is not yet known what caused the explosion that led to a fire. The crew members abandoned the ship and were later rescued. No one was injured in the incident.
A maritime shipping source told the agency that the container ship was carrying "dangerous" cargo. The source did not explain what exactly the ship was transporting, and the vessel's name has not been disclosed.
