European Commission to propose additional macro-financial assistance for Ukraine

“The situation on the ground in Ukraine still requires our unabated support,” the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, wrote on Twitter, Report informs.
“On top of the €10 billion we have provided so far, we will propose an additional €5 billion in macro-financial assistance this week. The EU will be by Ukraine’s side, for as long as it takes,” she tweeted.
