EU to spend €300 billion on transition to green energy

"The European Union (EU) will spend 300 billion euros on the transition to "green energy" in order to abandon the import of Russian fossil fuels," President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said at the 17th Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia, Report informs, citing TASS.
According to her, these funds are intended to implement the "green" transition within the framework of the "REPowerEU" initiative.
