EU to present €5bn aid package to Ukraine next week

The European Union (EU) will present another €5 billion bailout package for Ukraine next week, part of a plan announced by the European Commission in June, Report informs, citing Bloomberg.
The allocated funds will be intended to cover "urgent expenses", including the payment of salaries and benefits to Ukrainian citizens. According to the information, the EU representatives agreed on the details of the new package at a meeting held online on Friday, and also agreed to continue developing a mechanism for providing Ukraine with the remaining 3 billion euros of macroeconomic assistance.
