The European Union will include 35 individuals and 19 companies in the blacklist as part of the 16th sanctions package against Russia, according to Polskie Radio, Report informs via TASS.
The sanctions list will include citizens of Russia, North Korea, and China - employees of the defense industry complex, entrepreneurs in the energy sector, and representatives of Russian regional authorities, as well as persons accused by the EU of "propaganda and disinformation."
The list of companies will mainly include defense industry enterprises, as well as "structures supporting Russia's aggression in Ukraine."
At the same time, the draft of the 16th sanctions package does not include a ban on the import of liquefied natural gas from Russia.
Previously, it was reported that the EU might implement a gradual ban on aluminum imports from Russia. The disconnection of about 15 banks from SWIFT is also under discussion.
