Estonia to reroute Ukrainian refugees to Finland

Estonia has exhausted its capabilities to host Ukrainian refugees and asked for Finland's help in accommodating them, Estonian Minister of the Interior Lauri Läänemets told journalists, Report informs via Interfax.
He said they agreed to reroute some of the refugees to Finland, which expects to host up to 100 people a week. Those rerouted will be able to seek temporary protection immediately upon arrival.
The minister said they need Finland's help for both refugees and Estonian residents not to suffer from the decline in quality of provided assistance, for example, in education or health.
According to the ministry, so far, around 66,000 Ukrainian refugees reported the intention to stay in Estonia.
