EP urges EU to promptly adopt 10th package of anti-Russia sanctions

MEPs called for the speedy adoption of the tenth package of sanctions against Russia at the plenary session in Brussels on February 2, Report informs with reference to the European Parliament.
The European Parliament calls on the EU countries to agree on the tenth package of sanctions against Russia as soon as possible.
The parliament also urged the members to timely introduce initiatives on the upcoming sanctions, including economic and personal ones.
According to some MEPs, it is necessary to prepare sanctions against the Russian companies Lukoil and Rosatom. They propose to curb the direct and indirect import, purchase and transportation of diamonds from Russia.
