An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 was recorded off the coast of Indonesia, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center said, Report informs via TASS.
The epicenter of the quake was 414 km southwest of the city of Banda Aceh (Sumatra island), where 250,000 people live. The depth was 10 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage. No tsunami threat was declared.
