The Moldovan authorities may again decide to close the airspace, Moldovan Minister of Defense Anatoly Nosatii said on the air of the Moldova 1 TV channel, Report informs.
“Given the current situation, various measures can be taken to ensure national security. Since the missiles are launched from the territory of the Black Sea, they may also cross the airspace of Moldova in the future,” Nosatii said.
He added that the decision to close the airspace is made by the Commission for Emergency Situations after consultations with all responsible authorities.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Moldova reported that three missiles fired from Russian ships in the Black Sea flew over the republic on October 10. In this regard, the Russian ambassador in Chisinau was summoned to the foreign ministry of the republic.
