China's Permanent Representative to the UN Zhang Jun said that he will leave his post at the end of March, Report informs referring to TASS.
"My tenure as China's permanent representative to the UN will end at the end of March. Thank you for your support for nearly five years," he told reporters.
The diplomat pointed out that China has always supported the UN and its work. At the same time, he emphasized that it is necessary to rebuild confidence in "true multilateralism" and restore mutual trust among countries.
