China's Foreign Ministry: Escalation of regional tensions doesn't serve interests of Iran, Israel

China opposes the escalation of contradictions and the expansion of the conflict, Spokesperson for Chinese Foreign Ministry Lin Jian said, Report informs referring to Chinese media.

"China opposes any encroachment on the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Iran, as well as the escalation of contradictions and the expansion of the conflict," the diplomat said.

According to him, a repeated sudden escalation of regional tensions 'does not meet the interests of either side.'
