Charles III to make his first foreign trip to France

King Charles III of Great Britain plans to visit France in October.

Report informs, citing The Telegraph, that this will be the first foreign visit of Charles III. His travel plan may also include Germany.

The newspaper clarifies that Elizabeth II has not traveled for the past 7 years, and the British king "needs to catch up." The publication notes that Charles III and French President Emmanuel Macron both support the project of greening the African continent. In addition, the British Foreign Office wants to use the diplomatic power of the monarchy to build bridges with major European neighbors after the country leaves the European Union.

Australia and New Zealand are expected to be the first Commonwealth countries to be visited by Charles III. A trip there is planned in the spring of 2023.
