Charles III has arrived in Northern Ireland on his first official visit as a monarch, Report informs, citing the BBC.
The British king is accompanied by Queen Consort Camilla. Their airplane landed in Belfast.
The royal couple will head to the Hillsborough castle - the only residence of the royal family in Northern Ireland.
The king will meet with Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris and then with the high-ranking representatives of the political parties.
Charles III is also expected to have a short walk, during which he will meet with members of the public and view the flowers and notes that locals brought to Hillsborough in tribute to the Queen's memory. Crowds of people began to gather at dawn at the castle to greet the king.
British Prime Minister Liz Truss will later join the royal couple for a service at St Anne's Cathedral in Belfast.
