Car crashes into crowd in Tokyo, injuring 8

A car has crashed into a crowd of people near one of the busiest intersections in the Shibuya area of Tokyo, Report informs referring to Kyodo agency.
The accident happened in the Dogenzaka area, where there were a lot of people on the weekend.
Eight people were injured as a result of the incident. According to preliminary data, the victims received minor injuries.
The driver has been detained and police are investigating.
