Bundestag to hold emergency sessions over Magdeburg attack

The Bundestag's (German Parliament) Committee on Internal Affairs and the Intelligence Services Oversight Committee plan to discuss the incident involving a vehicle driving into visitors at a Christmas market in Magdeburg (federal state of Saxony-Anhalt) during special sessions on December 30, Report informs referring to DPA agency.

Sources in the Bundestag said that the Intelligence Services Oversight Committee meeting is expected to begin at 10:00, while the Internal Affairs Committee meeting will start later, at 12:00 or 12:30 local time.

Both meetings will be held in person.
