The UK Foreign Office (FCDO) has advised its citizens to refrain from traveling to Lebanon due to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, according to the department’s updated recommendations, Report informs.
“FCDO advises against all travel to Lebanon. If you are currently in Lebanon, we recommend that you leave now while commercial options are available,” the message said.
The Foreign Ministry explained its recommendations regarding the conflict between Israel and Palestine, since shelling continues in the south of Lebanon on the border with Israel, and the situation may worsen and affect exit routes from the country.
