UK evacuates family members of its diplomats from Israel

Britain has evacuated family members of its diplomats from Israel amid the escalation of the conflict with Iran, Report informs referring to The Times of Israel citing the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The office stated that the evacuation is a temporary measure against the backdrop of the current situation.

“Family members of staff at the British embassy in Tel Aviv and the British consulate in Jerusalem have been temporarily withdrawn as a precautionary measure,” Britain’s foreign office said on its travel advice page for Israel, adding that the mission employees will continue to remain in their positions.
