Borrell to visit Washington, meet with Biden

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will travel to Washington on October 20, according to the Europa Press agency, Report informs referring to TASS.

According to sources, Borrell will be part of the EU delegation that will travel to the American capital to meet with US President Joe Biden. Earlier it was reported that from the EU side, the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and President of the European Council Charles Michel will participate in the negotiations.

The parties, in particular, will discuss the EU’s intention to continue dialogue with the US on energy transition issues.
