Boat carrying tourists explodes in Thailand

A boat carrying tourists from Russia and Kazakhstan exploded near Maitona Island in southern Thailand, Thai tourist police said, Report informs via TASS.
One person was reportedly injured as a result of the incident.
"The boat exploded near Maitona Island. There were 31 tourists from Kazakhstan and Russia on board. One Russian citizen was injured during the incident. The injured person was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The other 30 tourists were not injured and returned to their hotels," the police said.
