Despite ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran, the Trump administration is working to find a solution with Tehran, and technical negotiations between the two countries continue, Axios journalist Barak Ravid said in a post on X, Report informs.
According to Ravid, a US official said on Thursday the Trump administration is "still committed to finding a resolution, and technical talks continue" to reach a nuclear deal.
"President Trump made his feelings very clear yesterday in no uncertain terms. Iran's attacks on these innocent vessels are acts of terrorism. The MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) is performance-based, and Iran's actions constitute failed performance at an unacceptable level", the US official said.
