According to Israel’s Ministry of Tourism, approximately 40,000 foreign tourists remain stranded in the country following the closure of Israeli airspace, Report informs via Israeli media.
The ministry has taken measures, making it possible for the tourists to get information, and also provides them with accommodation assistance and available exit options.
"We are also working to assist tourists in leaving the country via overland border crossings to Jordan and Egypt, which remain open," a ministry representative stated.
