9 ISIS militants captured in Syria

Nine terrorists, including 4 ISIS leaders, were captured during operations against the organization in the Al-Bab region in northern Syria, the Internal Affairs Ministry of Turkiye said, Report informs via Anadolu.

The operations were carried out in coordination with the gendarmerie forces of the Gaziantep province of Turkiye.

The Turkish intelligence had learned that terrorists were planning attacks on Al-Bab and Turkiye shortly.

Among those detained is the assistant of a particularly dangerous ISIS terrorist codenamed "Abu Musab".

The terrorists were arrested by the decision of the local court.
