Speaker: We hope Russia will do its best to end conflict

"I think there is no need to talk about Russia's role not only in regional issues but also in resolving issues on the global agenda."

Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova told speaking at a plenary session of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Report says.

"We hope that Russia, which is a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and has always sought a peaceful solution to the conflict, will use its influence in international politics. It will make every effort to put an end to this long-running conflict," Gafarova added.
