Up to 20,000 manats of financial assistance to martyrs' families approved for tax exemption

The draft amendments to the Tax Code were discussed in the third reading at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to Report, up to 20,000 manats will be exempted from income tax for the families of those martyred in the Patriotic War and service members and civilians with disabilities due to military operations.
According to another amendment proposed to the Tax Code, income from the cancellation of debts of people martyred or injured in the Patriotic War to banks and other credit institutions will be exempted from tax.
After discussions, the draft amendment was put to the vote and adopted in the third reading.
