Speaker: Remnants of Armenian army must be completely removed from Azerbaijani territories

"During my participation in the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly in Kazakhstan, I said that Azerbaijan is committed to the tripartite statement. Armenia must comply with the requirements of this statement," Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova said at today's parliamentary session, Report informs.
According to her, the remains of the Armenian army and illegal Armenian armed groups must be completely removed from the territory of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan has sent proposals to Armenia to normalize relations and is currently waiting for a response from Yerevan.
