She said that many countries and international organizations take the opposite position: "The rapid arming of Armenia, the resolutions adopted against us within the framework of parliaments and international institutions do not serve the interests of the peoples of the region and the peace agenda."
Gafarova emphasized that the South Caucasus needs peace and stability more than ever in the current complex era: "There is no reason to worry about Azerbaijan's restoration of its territorial integrity and sovereignty and its independent policy. On the contrary, the possibility of conducting an independent policy creates a reliable basis for finding simple solutions to disputes and misunderstandings without the intervention of third parties."
