Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament visiting UAE

Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, is on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the 2nd Session of the Women Parliamentary Forum of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), the Milli Majlis's Press and Public Relations Department told Report.

At Abu Dhabi International Airport, the parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker Gafarova was welcomed by Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council, Maryam bin Theneya, Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council and Chair of PAM's Women Parliamentary Forum, Elchin Baghirov, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the UAE, as well as other officials.

During the visit, Sahiba Gafarova is expected to deliver a speech at the session of PAM's Women Parliamentary Forum and hold a number of meetings.
