Azerbaijani parliament to be represented at TURKPA meeting in Türkiye

Ziyafat Asgarov, the Chairman of the Defense, Security, and Anti-corruption Committee of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, is scheduled to visit Ankara and Istanbul in Türkiye from May 21 to 24, Report informs via the press and public relations department of the Milli Majlis.

His visit is aimed at attending the events planned for the heads of the defense committees of the parliaments that are members of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA).

During the events, the committee chairman is expected to engage in a meeting focused on the defense and security architecture among the members of TURKPA. Additionally, the chairman is expected to tour several key sites, including the Turkish Aerospace Industries, the ASELSAN/Akyurt Facilities, and the Baykar company.

The trip will end on May 24.
