President of Arab Parliament: ‘Heydar Aliyev will remain a source of national pride for Azerbaijani people’

With his wise policy, Heydar Aliyev will remain a source of pride for the people of Azerbaijan, the President of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman al-Asoomi, said at a special session of the Milli Majlis (parliament) held on May 16 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.

According to him, thanks to Heydar Aliyev's merits, Azerbaijan has taken rightful place in the international community: "Heydar Aliyev paid special attention to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the Arab states. It is not a coincidence that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was the first international organization that Azerbaijan joined. On behalf of the Arab Parliament, I would like to inform you that "We will do our best to develop relations between Azerbaijan and the Arab states. The traces of great leaders will always remain in history, people will remember them. Heydar Aliyev will always remain in history and in the memory of his people. Strong relations between Azerbaijan and Arab states will continue."
