Ombudsman proposes inspections into violations of labor rights

Amendments to the law "On Suspension of Inspections in the Field of Entrepreneurship" have been proposed in Azerbaijan.

According to Report, these amendments were included in the 2024 annual report of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman), which was discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Human Rights.

The document contains the Ombudsman's proposal to investigate cases of violations of human rights and freedoms, including labor rights, by business entities, as well as to conduct inspections based on received complaints.
