Milli Majlis ratifies Azerbaijan's accession to D-8

The Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament) has approved the country's accession to the Charter of the Developing Eight (D-8) Organization for Economic Cooperation, Report informs.

The draft law "On accession to the Charter of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation" was submitted for discussion at today's plenary meeting of the parliament.

Azerbaijan is joining the charter, which was signed in Islamabad on November 22, 2012.

The draft was put to vote and adopted in the first reading.
