Loan agreement term between Azerbaijan and JICA extended

Today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis discussed the draft law on approval of the "Letter of Amendment to the Loan Agreement No. AZB-P4" on the Provincial Cities Water Supply and Sewerage Project signed between Azerbaijan and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on May 29, 2009.

According to Report, the agreement envisages JICA's new loan of 32.851 billion Japanese yens to Azerbaijan.

According to the bill, the deadline for the use of these funds is changed from May 29, 2017, to December 30, 2021.

After discussions, the document was put to the vote and adopted.
