Date of entry into force of law "On Media" clarified

Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency (MEDIA), has shed light on the issue that January 1, 2022, is the date of entry into force of the law, Report informs.

"This date was taken as a starting point," he said during the discussion in the second reading of the draft law "On Media" at a joint meeting of the Parliamentary Committees on Law Policy and State Building and Human Rights today.

"This issue was mentioned in the discussions of the Working Group," he said.
