Azerbaijani parliament to hold hearings on religious situation in country

Public discussions and hearings on the religious situation in the country will be held in the Azerbaijani parliament, Report informs.

Six hearings are planned in accordance with the work plan of the Committee on Public Associations and Religious Structures for the spring session. Public discussions will focus on the current situation with public associations and political parties, the religious situation in the country, and the state of religious monuments.

Additionally, the work plan includes discussions with relevant committees on topics related to promoting the return to Western Azerbaijan on international platforms, the condition and restoration of religious monuments in liberated territories, and communicating the real situation to the international community.

The work plan, presented for discussion at today's committee meeting, was adopted.
