Azerbaijani Parliament approves Charter of ECO Clean Energy Center

The Clean Energy Center of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) will be located in Baku, according to the Charter of the Economic Cooperation Organization's Clean Energy Center which was discussed at the first meeting of the Milli Majlis' spring session on Monday, Report informs.
As noted, the center promotes development in renewable energy and energy efficiency and enhances the capabilities of national institutions of ECO Member States.
ECO's Clean Energy Center will provide support on sustainable energy issues and mobilizes financial and technical capabilities to help implement low-carbon project activities in the organization's region.
The bill was adopted after discussions.
