Azerbaijan to adopt draft national action plan on gender equality for 2025-2027

Azerbaijan will adopt a draft National Action Plan on Gender Equality for 2025-2027, Report informs referring to the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs for 2024.

According to the information, the State Committee also recommends improving the mechanisms for implementing the Law "On Guarantees of Gender Equality."

The recommendations of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs also include the formation of a gender-oriented budget policy and practice, the protection of gender equality in political parties, equal representation in governance and decision-making, expanding opportunities for participation, and improving legislation.
