US Embassy offers condolences over death of Azerbaijani soldiers

The United States Embassy in Azerbaijan has extended its heartfelt condolences following the tragic deaths of four Azerbaijani servicemen in Lachin. The embassy conveyed its sympathies through an official post on its social media account, according to Report.

"The US Embassy expresses its sincerest condolences to the loved ones, friends, and colleagues who are mourning the tragic loss this week of four off-duty Azerbaijani servicemen," the statement reads.

On July 30, four soldiers of the Azerbaijani army tragically passed away in Lachin, presumably due to sulfur poisoning while bathing in a thermal spring containing hydrogen sulfide.
