International exercises with participation of special forces of Azerbaijani Navy begin in Türkiye

The international exercise Doğu Akdeniz-2023 begins in Türkiye today with the participation of the special forces of the Azerbaijani Navy.

Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, that military exercises will be held in the city of Marmaris.

In total, they will involve 24 ships, 13 helicopters, 5 UAVs, 20 F-16 fighters and other equipment.

Several countries are taking part in the exercise, which will last until November 25.

In accordance with the military cooperation plan between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, a group of personnel from the naval special forces detachment of the Azerbaijani Navy is in the fraternal country to participate in the international exercise Doğu Akdeniz-2023.
