Azerbaijani defense minister offers condolences to Pakistan

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov has extended condolences to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.

Hasanov expressed his condolences following the death of a group of Pakistani Armed Forces personnel in a terrorist attack in the country's northwest.

At least 12 members of Pakistan's security forces were killed today in an ambush by militants from Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the northwestern region.
