The armed forces of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Pakistan will conduct joint exercises on a regular basis.
Report informs, citing AZERTAC, that the agreement was reached during the trilateral meeting between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held in Astana.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed issues of cooperation in the fields of defense and defense industry, touched upon the importance of the exercises of the special forces of the three countries held under the “Three Brothers” motto in 2021 and suggested conducting joint exercises of the Armed Forces of the three countries on a regular basis. The suggestion was accepted.
In the field of defense industry, the sides discussed the possibilities of organizing joint production by the three countries.
