Azerbaijan, Jordan ink agreement on defense co-op

Azerbaijan's defense minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has made an official visit to Jordan, Report informs via the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

As part of the visit, Colonel General Hasanov met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Yousef Huneiti.

First, the official welcoming ceremony took place. Colonel General Hasanov, in accordance with the protocol, walked in front of the guard of honor and left an entry in the visitors' book.

At the expanded meeting, cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres, as well as other issues of mutual interest, were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, an Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Defense was signed.
